Great call out. Sorry that happened.
On a positive note, I do have a 4-piston performance caliper upgrade on 385mm rotors. And they look good too. Trying to see the positive. :)

Big mea culpa here. I did some additional digging, found the 20D8680400 2 A marking on my calipers. That is a Brembo marking. So Brembo does make the 4-piston calipers that are on the standard Mustang MachE GT. What a roller coaster of good, bad, and useless information. Sorry to pull all you into it but at least for this set from 2023, they are Flexira® 4-Piston Brembo Calipers.

It's all good because the also have the FOMOCO marking as well.

The ONLY question left is whether both calipers, Red and unpainted are actually the same and will accept either rotor sizes (385mm or 362mm).

I've got both sets queued up and ready to buy. I really want the bigger ones but I think either will be fine. Just need confirmation!

I'm really jealous of you guys making this conversion. A couple of weeks ago, I made the drive up/down the Pikes Peak mountain, and while I had no problems, I would have loved the confidence that a big set of front brakes would have provided.

My installer said the 385mm rotors did not fit the non-logo'd calipers and swapped in the 362mm ones.

So does that mean that you don't have the PE calipers afterall?

I kept going down the rabbit hole and found the Mach-E forum thread that was mentioned before....They went down this same road a couple years back and it is absolutely, positive that the PE calipers, even though they look very similar, are different from the red GT and non-painted standard calipers.

GT and GTPE brakes are NOT the same? | Page 5 | MachEforum - Ford Mustang Mach-E News, Owners, Discussions, Community

I ended up buying another non-painted caliper and 362mm rotors since I plan to use my 18's for winter wheels and I'm fairly certain they PE brakes will not clear those wheels.

It's been fun boys, I'll eventually post up a pic once I get the parts in hand and time to get it all installed....Thanks for the info and conversation!!

Correct. They are different. I have the GT non-PE 4-piston, originaly unbranded, Brembo Flexira calipers.

@Jtitzer56 do you think a bigger rotor would have fit with your caliper?
Sorry about not responding, I don't think I ever got any got any notifications I was being tagged.

It sounds like you've gotten you answer but there's definitely not any extra room in the caliper. I took mine off and was going to sell them so I had taken some pictures, it's kind of hard to tell but in this one you can see there's only a couple millimeters between the top of the pad/rotor and the slide pins.

Why are you selling them?

I took them off to switch to the Volvo Brembo's, my winter tires are on the 17" steel wheels and they don't clear the Mach-E brakes but they did clear the Volvo's. But I ended up running into a lot of problems finding a rotor that fit and then I found out the 21" Edge ST wheels wouldn't fit without a 1" spacer. So I ended up taking the Volvo brakes off and went back to these.

I keep seeing videos of people using a tool to rotate/screw in the rear caliper... Is that necessary of can it just be pushed in like most every other caliper?
