They look good, but to many issues with water intrusion for me.

Think I will use double sided tape on the top and sides. leave the bottom open so condensation doesn't collect.

RE: Amber lenses - I now have mine on order - $24.99 USD. Do you think 3M double-sided tape will show through the lens?
Although I do no get as much rain as you, the thought of condensation occured to me. I can't decide if leaving the bottom unsealed will provide a weep hole and allow the interior to air out or if it is an invitation to trouble. Meanwhile, being so close to engine heat, I wonder if a small hole or even two, in the emblem, say above the hole where the LED is, would be a better option and take advantage of engine heat?
Are you planning to wire/install so it illuminates like the side marker light and also flashes with the turn indicator as well or just as a turn indicator? I plan to use the Mabett video as my wiring guide. Cheers.
Hello Oscarcat, I just installed a set on my 2023 XLT and if you're a little mechanical it is a pretty easy install. As far as condensation I noticed some on the passenger side of mine. Not sure what to do about it..

Anyone dismantle one of these to get an idea on where the leaks coming from? Best guess right now is the clear part is just a lens popped on and whatever gasket is there just isn't seated properly. Maybe pop it off and add a lil rtv and reseat it.

Yes, thankfully I am mechanical enough to install. However, I am a bit hesitant to wire into what appears to already be a delicate and quirky electrical system.
You used the Mabett kit, right? I am going for an OEM look. So I ordered amber lenses that fit the profile of the logo piece. I just need a recommendation on an LED bulb that I can mount in a rubber grommet in a hole I will drill from the outside - meaning the logo piece remains in place and I can poke the wires through the grommet/hole.

Even though I like the animated lights. I feel that Mabett does not have their act together yet. Cheap pricing poor quality won't cut it for me.
I feel, having either fender or mirror mounted signal markers, is a nice safety feature. I've them as oem on a few of my vehicles. More than likely I will go with the ones pictured below. I have seen video's of these.
They will do the job as intended.
I wish they made them as switchbacks.
Not as fancy. Stay safe.
