Mabett side blinkers!!! That i won!!!

Alrighty... so I Won the Mabett side marker lights!!! They shipped almost immediately and I had them in hand in 2 days!! Way faster than expected!!!
So I went out and put them on. I laid everything out and grabbed tools and carefully took things apart and matched plugs on the sides they belonged on... then reran the wires... then tested them out... then reran the wires... then tested them again and cleaned the wires up better!!
The intall was maybe 30 minutes and most of that was me refunding the wires a dozen times!!
In the cab I can not tell they are even there but everybody who sees them says they are very bright and a great addition!!!
I agree!! Good add on that during the day blends well with my DIY BOP!!

Nice install! Thanks for the photos and video as they always help. Good planning, taking time, matching up the plugs, running out the wires all paid off. Good to know for when I order mine.

But I also like keeping the XLT logo.

So many choices. So little time.

I saw one in use on the road. From a distance I have no idea the maker/brand.

The amber light was overly bright.
Really, too bright. But I have no idea who made them.

Maybe a take away for Mabett to consider here in their design (OP indicated he won the Mabett side lights) would be lower watt bulbs if they are in fact too bright or glaring?

it took a bit to convince myself I did not need the XLT, and I did not need to cover the XLT with Chevy S10 badges, and when I realized the factory nose markers do not double fer blinkers I started looking more at these! All my S10's had side blinkers... on the sides! Lol

Brightness:
While driving at night, I work nights I get a lot of opportunity to test them, I can tell they add more light beside me but I can not differentiate between these and the headlights! They do not wash out any of your veiw and you do not know if they are working or not!
While at places parked between other vehicles you can see them reflect off everything around you but only like any other side lights.
And as you start your vehicle these lights are way brighter than while running so methinks they maybe already dialed them back a ways!!

I have refrained from printing anything for Fancy Maverick... yet!
But now with the wiring in place... I could rebadge her as an S10... or I could make Decepticon and Autobot blinkers...
I will continue to refrain from printing anything fer Fancy Maverick... YET!!! BWAHAHAHAAAAAH
