My Amazon Review: Easy to install on a 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD

Delivered July 19, 2025.
Recap of my Install & Amazon review:

They cover a pocket in the wheel wells to prevent mud and other debris from filling the void. The recessed pocket have buttons used to mount the fender wells.

I removed the existing buttons with the provided metal button removal tool.

I then cleaned the area with alcohol wipes. I used the 3M double stick because without there was a 1/8" gap.

I pull back one inch of the red 3M strips & secured with blue masking tape.

I then installed the buttons to secure the shield. I had to reuse one long button on each side for my fender flairs as the provided buttons were not long enough.

I then pulled the red strip off & press down to stick the 3M glue.

Only problem was the two longer buttons needed for the holes shared with the fender flairs. But with the button removal tool, I was safely able to remove the long buttons & reuse.

I would recommend this to anyone with a Maverick.

The photos show the passenger side first then the drivers side.

Received these covers two weeks ago and they fit perfectly.

In the video, install is on Maverick with fender flares - the video shows the covers go under the flares. If you do not have flares, the covers go on top of existing plastic (not under). You can see that about 5 seconds into the video.

I installed mine under the fender flair and on top of the front flap.

I have been installing my pile of stuff to put on the Maverick this week. Just put these wheel well covers along with mudflaps yesterday and today. Super easy to put on the truck. Next up the shock covers and the cover over the bottom of the truck on the driver side rear. I am dreading that install a bit. Hopefully get it done this weekend. The truck is starting to come together. I have had the truck 1 month today and I love it.
