Anyone install a tailgate light bar (running lights, brake light, turn signals, hazard lights, reverse light) what brand did you install and did you only use the 4-Pin connector under the rear bumper or did you have to install a special wiring harness to avoid having a conflict with the trailer recognition software?

I just installed one and initially used the 4-pin connector but discovered that disconnected the rear back up camera so I had some one install it with a special wiring harness. It now works very well. I am sorry I cannot remember the name but I ordered it off Amazon and be sure you get the shorter one which will also be narrower allowing the light bar to avoid blocking the spare tire access hole.

Hello, I installed one on my 2023 XLT. Actually I had Uhaul install a Receiver Hitch so I could pull a trailer. I will have to look into mine I got from Amazon. And I bought a wire with a 4 pin connector on both ends and just plugged it into the wiring from the hitch. So far I've I had zero issues and it has all the functions that you mentioned. I like it especially at night because it just adds a little more visibility in the dark. Good luck how ever you end up doing it
