Low battery warning !

Fordpass has sent me messages that battery is low and to drive Mav . drove truck and two days later same message . 3 messages in 6 days . this is ecoboost . start/stop doesn't engage anymore . probably bad battery/ alternator I am thinking . I know I don't drive truck much ( 2k miles in last year ) . I have jump start in truck just in case . really don't want to take to dealer until recall for airbags are available . just wondering if others are having same issues .

My hybrids been doing that a lot lately. I've had the truck since April, and it's only just now doing it as the weather is getting cold. So I'm tentatively chalking it up to the cold not playing nice with the 12v battery.

Disconnect 12V battery and fully charge. It may happen again, but worth trying before going to dealer.

Drove truck today and at 8:44 pm message from fordpass that remote features turn off to preserve battery .

I would put slow charger on truck ,see how long it takes to full charge.

Vehicles that are not driven often and for short trips when they to come out will not always fully recharge a battery. Worse yet, all these apps ( Ford Pass, etc.) and certain electrical systems in the truck are constantly draining the battery when parked. You can unhood the ground lead on the battery.....which is a hassle and resets everything. If possible, a "battery tender" type device for maintaining the battery will eliminate the problem....but is still a hassle.

Make sure this lug connector is tight. Caused a bunch of issues for us and destroyed the battery from the factory -
