It's going on two weeks since I picked up my '25 Lariat Hybrid. They say numbers don't lie and if what these numbers are saying is true, I'll have logged 553 miles on the very first tank. Works for me and my wallet! Color me one happy Maver.

I’m happy with the overall average of 28 mpg that I get with mine. That’s twice as much as I used to get with my Dodge Ram!

Similar story here. Bought a '99 GMC Sierra 1500 Custom new in '99. Was a great truck. Used it to move a gazillion tons of rock, dirt, trees, plants, and furniture over 25 years and put 291K miles on it. But at the end, of the run, she was struggling to get 17mpg. No longer need the capacity of a full-sized truck but still need to make dump runs and Home Depot runs and the Maverick checks all the boxes at more than double the mileage. Works for me!

Through the summer, I averaged a solid 38 mpg with a wide mix of driving conditions, but as it's gotten colder (south central OH), I'm seeing it drop to 30-35. I understand that's normal because the battery doesn't work as well in the cold, and the engine runs more.

The most miles I have gotten on mine per one tank of gas was 505 and I have only done it once. With the Ecoboost motor you need to get at least 31 mpg to get there which is doable on a road trip!

I’m in Tucson. It finally cooled off. So I think that contributed to it.

My '08 Escape was still showing 20mph highway miles at 525k and dying.
With my '23 XLT hybrid, mileage has become something of a game (not quite hypermiling, though) and if I keep my highway speed at 60, my overall mileage comes in at around 40mpg, calculated at the pump. Computed mileage shows somewhat better.
Up at 70 or so, and mileage drops into the mid/high 30s.

UPDATE: I just filled up; 315 miles, 8.2 gallons for 38.4mpg. This was mostly interstate driving at 60.
The truck calculated 43mpg.
