Looking for speaker replacement recommendations

What size did you put in the rear? Did have to make any alterations?

Sorry. I was referring to my Ram. It had 6x9s in the rear doors. I don't plan to mess with the Maverick rear speakers for now. I don't think a 4" is worth the hassle.

So, the Morels are installed and I couldn't be happier! Very clean sound and more low end. An 8" powered sub is in my future.

Did you disconnect the tweeters in the dash? Were the door speakers easy to install? Did you have to make any modifications to get the door speakers in or use a specific bracket?

I have Focal Auditors in the doors and Focal ICU 100's in the rear.

@jewc75 Looking to install the same speakers (plus a Kicker Hideaway sub).

Did you have to do any modifications to mount you Focal ICU 100s? Interested in the same speakers but Crutchfield says is doesn’t fit because the magnet diameter is slightly too large.

And what amp did you end up using? I’m looking at using the Wavtech 300.4 mini.

They fit fine, i didnt have to modify anything. The magnet is pretty big. Im using Kicker amps, 800.1 for the sub and 360.4 for the rest.
