A lot of Maverick owners who added the hood struts were having problems with opening their hoods afterwards.
Interesting. Do you have more information? I'm interested in the hood struts.

Message Realtruck here first. The CSR gave me 10% off for membership, but Santana got me a better deal. Free shipping and it arrived quickly.

Do you message realtruck or Santana through the forum? Or through their website? Bed cover looks great!

I have the Redline hood struts. https://amzn.to/3GPnLWy They work fine. No flex from the hood opening or closing. The upper passenger side bracket's bolt hole had to be enlarged a little on mine (depends on factory hood adjustment) but they were quick to do one and send it to me (mailed next day). You could also just enlarge the hole slightly with a file or drill bit yourself if the bracket hits up against the hood support. Easy install.

Finally got my build date (1/22/24) for my XLT Hybrid with Lux, splashguards and 360. Have already decided to add hood struts and tailgate damper. I plan to add a tonneau cover and interior floor mats and would like some recommendations. Also, any suggestions for studded snow tires. I am in northern Maine so...
Update:
I have decided on a hard rollup cover. Now to decide on which one. Can anyone share their experience/recommendation for a cover. My Mac will have the HDIL. Still haven't chosen floor mats but leaning toward Husky weatherbeater.

I don't see any recommendations or discussions about tires.

OP - are you sure you need studded tires? They're noisy, and they wear the roads heavily. Modern winter tires can do well in all but the most icy conditions and they're a lot easier to live with.

There are also some all-season tires that have the 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake rating, so they're starting to consider that type of tire "all weather" because they are much better in snow and ice than an average all-season. (But not quite a winter tire.)

Appreciate your input. Northern Maine can be nasty in the winter. Between ice, snow and "black" ice, things can be challenging. I have been here 20+ years and have used studded tires most of that time on various vehicles. The time I didn't was on a T100 Toyota which just had winter tires. But it was 4WD so that helped.

Alright, well I think that whatever studded tires you prefer in the stock size is a good place to start. I believe the Maverick has good fender clearance at stock ride height, so I don't see any reason to go with shorter tires. YMMV

Tailgate cover. Does the hard drop in Berliner include a tailgate cover?

Thanks for YOUR idea!! Hood Struts!!! My birthday is today, so I just ordered a set on Amazon and they'll be delivered tomorrow. My only "pain" with my Maverick has been the cheapie hood prop rod. I am seldom under the hood, mainly to add washer fluid, and have always been "nervous" about the prop rod and the hole it fits into. The hood is heavy enough to kill me, if it wanted to. I would never have thought of struts until I read your post. Thanks again. Oh, I almost forgot your post, there are tons of little options you can get for your truck. You will definitely want the letter set for your rear gate. I am tickled with one of the cheapest things I have added: color-matching knob covers for the dashboard knobs. They set off the all-blackness of the interior. I also added a CD player. Good luck: accessories are FUN.

Nonsense. The hood is nowhere near heavy enough to kill you. You might get a boo boo though. Hood struts and tailgate damper are superfluous at best. Both are light weight and unless you have some sort of disability the struts are just another thing to break.

Embrace simplicity.

Then again, if you say you added a cd player I have to conclude you are trolling.
