If possible, I want to get one with Amazon since it has free shipping and we live in New Hampshire. Ideally, it will work with the factory holes. Also is there an issue with it fitting under the factory roll-up tonneau cover?

I'm still interested if there are other bed extenders that work better that are not from Amazon. I'm a do it your selfer but I do not like cutting or drilling the truck bed up to fit the extender if possible

I have a 2023 Maverick XLT AWD I bought used which has been great and I'm averaging around 30 MPG in all around driving and towing a small boat. Where I drive up here it's 50-60 MPH between small towns so that is why my mileage is so high

From the op:

Would be a really good indicator they aren't looking for what you posted.

Methinks he was asking about the flip out basket that doesn't really extend the bed but that could be put on a slide to accomplish the purpose, what I posted is a "Bed Extender" which IS what he said. These could solve the issue with not wanting to flip the tonneau cover to extend the flipout basket thingy.

Bill,
What type of Bed extender are you looking for type 1 or type 2

Looking up bed extenders online both types are shown.

For any manufacturer look up bed extender in their parts catalog and you get the flip kind.
It was obvious that's what is being referenced since mentioning the bed cover.

What ever, I always thought they were a waste of space because everyone I knew stored one in the shed because they were always in the way.

I ain't no Einstein but I know I didn't want one, built what I needed from the scrap pile.

I have the Truxedo Sentry CT Hard Rollup Tonneau Cover and this Bed Extender I bought on Amazon. They work together just fine. The bed extender used the factory holes to mount it. As far as I can tell, the tonneau cover is identical to the Ford branded one.

I think I will go with the one at Amazon. I had a Ford sport track and used it all the time, I also need to hold my skis in the bed in the winter. Thanks for the input. The Maverick is much better than the Sport track which had pretty bad mileage and died from frame rot

I have the Ford bed extender and a Truxedo Pro X15 roll up cover. The cover doesn't hinder the flipping of the extender. Well, of course you have to roll up the cover first to flip the thing in or out.
