Looking for a ball mount for my 2025 Maverick

I am slowing getting the items I feel I need for my new 2025 XL AWD that I got the 2K towing package on. I am wanting to know what you all think is best to buy and where to buy at?

Not sure I understand the question, since your 2K-equipped truck should already have the receiver (hitch) and flat-4 light connector. If you are asking about the ball mount that slides into the receiver, you need to match the ball size and height of the trailer(s) you intend to tow,

I use a Curt # 45220 2" drop ball mount, with a Curt # 49937 2" x 1"(thread) ball, which gives me a 19-1/2" ball height.

If you would like more info on hitches as well as towing help, have a look at a thread I recently started about it...

I can be long winded, but there are a few photos as well.

I began the thread with photos of a pamphlet on towing, might help you out if you have any questions, or don't know a lot of this info already. Then I go into many other details that are good to be aware of.

If you have any questions at all, just ask...way easier then learning the hard way! YouTube is full of towing gone badly videos.

Here is the very basic amount of towing information and it is right from FORD, and the 2 documents are download-able for free (just in case you need them for reference).

I plan on doing a bit of a deeper dive (trailer weights, etc)into towing with a Maverick later today on my towing thread, mentioned above, if interested.

The 3rd attachment is one of the most important bits to be aware of, but is in small print. Should be more visible in block letters.

Don't forget.
You can turn them upside down. If you need it to be raised slightly.

What I like about a solid slide in ball hitch, versus an adjustable. Is, less places for it to rattle.

Great tip, and that's exactly what I did a few years back with mine, since my SUV's hitch was too low.

Or this, so you don't have to carry a big wrench (adjustable) with you.

For longer distances, I use an ant-rattle device, they are cheap, as well.
