Long wait in Mexico lot

My Maverick was built on Nov 15, per my dealer and is waiting to be shipped to WV. Last time I asked Dec 15th was told still in lot waiting to be shipped. Is my dealer "doping" me as I've seen other people posting on the forums receive their trucks in 2-3 weeks after being told it was built. I plan to stop by the dealer on Monday to see what their story is on shipping my truck. Unable to look online to check shipping as the dealer entered the wrong email address and per them are unable to change it until after the truck arrives at their site.

Mine was built 11/30-12/1 and then sat in Mexico. I believe that many November/early December trucks were not shipped until the latest turn signal recall got done. Trucks built around 12/15 seem to have moved out quickly, leaving the older ones sit.

But the good news is that on 12/28, they did a master reset on my truck and I got an email from Ford telling me that my access had been disconnected (I then lost my FordPass access that I had been granted by some kind worker since 12/19). It was decleared "Built" that same day and it shipped 1/3/24. So I think they are getting them finished and moved out. Hopefully, you will get good news shortly.

Wait until it gets to the rail yard. Mine sat there for 3 weeks, before finally being trucked to the dealer.

I read back in 2021 that it is a shipping issue. They wait for a certain amount of vehicles going to one area before they ship. In other words, if you live in a big metropolis, you are safe. OTOH, if you live in Cascade, Idaho, you will have a wait.

built and released on 12/23 NO RECALL on the website . Sitting I. Mexico. This is 14 day. Could have driven down and got it !

I must be in that Cascade Idaho category. Went into production Nov 9, built Dec 16 and not shipped until Jan 4. Los Angeles is such a small town...

I work for one of the major railroads. We just finished our peak season which runs from thanksgiving till Christmas. During peak season, a majority of the freight hauled is usually all the intermodal stuff like UPS and Amazon. Basically everyone’s Christmas gifts are taking priority over other freight. So that may be some of the hold up on the shipping.

Good news, looks like the late nov. turn signal holdup builds are finally starting to break loose. I just received a shipped notice! Hang in there.

Similar story here. Same build date, but updated to shipped on 1/5. I got a train car number, but every time I've tried to track it, I get "no information available," so who knows where it's at?

Just talked to the dealer. My truck is there, they are going to their thing, and I'll go see it/buy it tomorrow. Window sticker has 33,330. price. Any ideas on how much to offer? I thought I'd start 25,000 then go from there, or offer 30,000 with no fees paid i.e. taxes, title, plate transfer. I do not have a trade in as my daughter is going to "buy" my Rogue for pretty cheap. Plane to write a check tomorrow after test drive and leave, hopefully never to be back other than recalls, lol.
