Logic Behind Scheduling Order?

I'm curious if anyone knows the logic Behind when they schedule the orders I have a Lariat, 2.0 AWD, 360,4k,Luxury,FX4 in Velocity Blue on order my dealer never asked for a deposit but I've called Ford the last two weeks and they see the order it has no scheduled date or vin. I reserved on 6/8 and had an order put in on 6/9 what's the logic on scheduling?

My guess is: regional spread + dealer allotment + our options (vs. supply) + our order date.

I work with software that automates scheduling and it's usually a convoluted decision tree that makes no sense except to the business.

I have nearly the same order as you except I did not order FX4 and my color is Area 51 (oh, I did order the tonneau soft cover and floor liners). My order was late June. I am wondering the same thing...

I think its a SWAG.
I asked my dealer how the Preview system works. Does he present so many for Preview or is ALL orders in the Pool and Ford selects which ones get Previewed? He won't answer the question. He did respond but didn't answer the question. So I believe it is part dealer input and part SWAG.

Yeah the backwards scheduling is likely going to make me have to get a diffrent vehicle I reserved and ordered ASAP in hopes of getting it before winter as I need AWD this winter and I highly doubt that's going to happen if we are now looking at November being the next scheduling.

I've seen this stated a few times and am confused. Will they still Schedule every Thursday or are the done scheduling until next month or what? I don't understand.
