Does anyone know if it's possible to "lock" the 2025 Mav hybrid in EV Mode without having to select it each time I drive the truck? The owner's manual says nothing about it. Thanks

Are you asking how to "lock EV Coach" on the gage display? This is a common question. Or are you asking about one of the drive modes such as "Eco"? You should probably clarify your question. Because there is no "EV Mode".

There are many threads about the "My View" and how to configure it. I am little confused myself, but I am convinced there is a software bug that prevents me from my preferred configuration.

Even so, I use EV Coach and it does typically remain displayed as one of the My View screens after each restart. Sometimes you may need to click the up/down arrow on the right side of the steering wheel controls.

Thank you for relying. I did mean ECO mode. I get tired of having to select Eco Mode every time, since 99% of my daily city driving is in that mode.

you can't start up in EV mode on the 2025. you will get a window reminding you that you shut your car of in ECO mode and gives you a yes/no option to go back to ECO. you might have to wat or clcik ok on the seatbelt popup window.

If you can keep all 3 rear seatbelts plugged in, then when you plug in your driver side seatbelt, the seat belt warning window will not pop open when you start your car.

odd thing is its 2 clicks (click up to select yes, then click again for OK) Meanwhile getting to ECO mode is a simple double click on the left mode button (which is actually fastest)

On my 24 EB you have to hit the damn button 4 times each time you start to get it into ECO. My Escape was only twice.

Didn't I see on here an aftermarket unit that you wire in down by the fuse panel on the right side of the transition lump (passengers feet area). Need to look it up as that may be my next upgrade.

Driving a Maverick is like piloting an aircraft, once you buckle in you’ll need to go through a check list to ensure everything is at the correct setting or at least the settings you desire - using a checklist on an index card is helpful so once you get underway there isn’t a need to adjust any of the fantastic features available on the Maverick and get distracted a pre-flight plan will help provide you with a great driving experience

Ford's system design defaults to "Normal" at startup, but you can buy a 3rd-party add-on module that plugs into the console and generates a series of button pushes at power-on to effective make any driving mode you like the default. Other posts document this product.

2quick clicks on the left mode button put you in ECO. Don’t even have to look at the dash. Becoming 2nd nature for me but I do wish the system would default to the last mode, not normal, on start up.

I had never noticed that had to choose the economy mode each time that you started the vehicle until I read it here, I thought that I have been driving in economy mode for the last 1500 miles. I wonder who's dumb idea that was 🤔

I agree some things seem to be a no brainer but I guess not - however there are so many more positives than negatives I love this truck👍

Sooo true, I love mine too and I really love being able to drive over 500 miles on a tank of gas, I've been averaging 38.3 mpg in the normal mode. I'm just waiting for my ARE topper to arrive and then I'll be ready to do some traveling.
