Whatever they did/do I hope for buyer's sake it's tuned better than the stock unit in the current trucks. It's a shuffling, confused mess under any kind of light throttle.
Not on my 2024 AWD Ecoboost Lariat.
Mine shifts smoothly and correctly. As long as I don’t try and confuse it with erratic throttle inputs.

Bummer. Do you at least think it's possible to crack open those two shifters and swap the "L" button for an "M" button? If people eventually figure out how to program the button function to activate a manual mode, I'd still be a stickler for wanting the right letter on it. :D
Sam with Cobb has already figured that out. You just need a paddle steering wheel and an accessport. Your tuner can enable SST, you hit the L button to engage.

Sam with Cobb has already figured that out. You just need a paddle steering wheel and an accessport. Your tuner can enable SST, you hit the L button to engage.
Yes, I got all that. My half-joke was about the physical appearance of the button itself. If it functions like an “M” button, I want it to be labeled “M,” not “L.” I’m picky like that, but it’s a first-world prob for sure. :wink:
