Looks great. Can someone explain to me how the factory spray in liner was involved with gas tank injury/recall? What does spraying in material have to do with damaging the gas tank?

I imagine that covered some holes up and had to redrill them

Just had mine done Monday. $525 plus tax for the basic. Looks great, and I intend to have a tonneau cover over it, so I didn't think I needed the premium. Makes quite a difference!

I'm snagging a tonneau cover too. I also had them turn the front cleats right side up.

Looks great. This is the only way to configure a bed. Drop-ins are too slick and plasticky and easily scratch. And then just having the bear sheet metal is even worse since you're damaging the paint and risking rust if you beat it up too hard. Plus it looks bad. Since mine has the Lariat luxury package, it will come with spray-in from the factory but I just hope it's not affected by the fuel tank recall. I'm hoping that since they spotted it and remedied it to existing builds, future builds will be more cautiously installed. That's why I should've cancelled the spray-in altogether and just had the dealer do it. But once I get it, I'll have them inspect it to be on the safe side.

Looks good. Ordering from factory without the spray in liner was never an option for me. I know it's constrained. I'll wait patiently.

They were using a drill to clean out spray-in gunk from bed drain holes and were puncturing fuel tank under the bed.

Has anybody had a spray in liner on a previous truck for a long period of time? Was curious how they age and what issues come up down the road. If it's chipping or breaking down, I guess you would just have it sprayed again? Thanks!

looks good! I might get the plastic bed rails sprayed too if they think it will look clean. I think those are going to bake in the Arizona sun
