That dealer lists $32k for the Plus S, and I believe that's the French speaking part of Pennsylvania

First time out towing with the maverick. It did great! Highway / backroads I got about 28 mpg on the way there. Some freeway on the way home and closer to 24 mpg. Used a Bluetooth brake controller. Everything went really well.

I think any pop up, like the A-liners, are a great option for the Maverick. Good amount of space for the weight and easy to tow/park. Don't forget to account for all your passengers and extra gear when calculating your weight. I added the 4K tow package on mine because it's very easy to exceeds 2000 lbs even with a light trailer. The value proposition on the 4K tow was too good to pass up. You get a lot of extras for the price.

I have a 2023 Ecoboost, awd, Lariat, lux, copilot 360, has factory trailer hitch. I love the truck averaging 26.4. I have 4,000 miles on it and drive a lot at 80mph on the turnpike.
question is the next thing I want to get is a small travel trailer under 2,000 pounds for camping. Does anyone have one they pull, how does it handle, and any helpful info.
I have looked at the small scamp travel trailer. Just want a small 2 person with a bathroom and shower.
I don’t have 4K tow package or have a need for more than 2 people.
Have you looked at the Bushwhacker Plus 15 DS, it’s 1900 pounds sleeps 2, full kitchen , A/C, and has full size shower and separate toilet. I personally had the Bushwhacker 17FD it’s 2240 pounds and my Maverick towed it without issue. MPGs however dropped to 20.

Check out https://trailmanor.com/.

We bought two of these new in the past and absolutly love them. Low profile which very much limits wind load which is what most of the pulling effort is on a travel trailer unless climbing. Well built units. Very comfortible. Camped in Colorado one year in sub zero temps and it did fine.
Hope it helps!

Those look awesome! I didn't see any that are sub-2000 lbs though so unless I missed some, I think these are limited to those with the 4k pkg.

My take is the truck is designed for a certain thrust limit of 2000 pounds. A standard travel trailer's wind load would be greater than what trailmanor unit have. It might be a balance out load that would be functional. Anyway, you might check them out!

"Put your trailer together in 500 easy steps!"

Sorry. Not for me. Not something I wanna do at the end of a long drive.

This will probably be your best option based on your requirements. https://nucamprv.com/tag-trailer/2023-nucamp-tag-specifications/
