If yes and installation is easy, I'll do it myself.
If not or if installation requires a lot of disassembly, I'll use my points from buying my Maverick to pay for getting it installed by Ford.

Almost The missus and I were on the way out of the city and to the cabin, literally out of the door, when the salesman called and said "it's being unloaded, do you want to come today and finalize the purchase?"

Oh, did you mean the lighted emblem?

No, I placed an order on 12/25. Then, later that day, I received a backorder notification.
It was stuck in "Processing" status until today. Yesterday, I contacted Ford Parts support and asked why it wasn't moving for 3 weeks. I was given a case number, and today, I got a "shipped" notification with a FedEx trucking number. The status on the order page also changed to "shipped".

This definitely confirms Putco is the OEM. It's unfortunate that the front bumper cover has to come off to install it, but it's not that bad to do. Can you take a width measurement and a pic of the back of the emblem? Interested to know if it would fit a 22-24 and maybe wiring is why it's not listed as compatible (which can be fixed).

It's way bigger than all the previous years.

I measured mine at 6.5" across, so yes- at 8.5" across this is definitely bigger.

Maybe Putco makes another one or would make another one in the correct size. Time to do a little research.

It wasn't a difficult install. Got it free after using the Ford points and a coupon. Front end removal instructions given were ok, but there must be some differences in trim level for some models. Took about an hour to do. It does not have the start-up sequence though.

I thought it was a cool add on and considered getting one until I had a truck behind me with one installed the other night now it’s just weird and so expensive I’ll pass on this upgrade if that’s what you want to call it…
