Looked at my dealership's website. Looks like they have 15 hybrids on the way, eight of them XL. Makes up more than half of their incoming Mavericks. Willing to bet all are customer orders.

Seats in the Lariat are freezing in cold weather and burning hot in hot weather. The seat material used in the XL and XLT does not have these issues. With the Lariat there are a lot of days that you need to warm up the vehicle for 10 minutes just to get the interior more bearable, wasting a lot of fuel. With the heated seats and steering wheel on the XLT Lux package you just get in and drive.
I don't have a problem with warming up a hybrid or cooling it down in the heat. At 600miles a tank full, I'm ok with this as I do it already. I'm not worried about pennies. Hybrid already exceeds that savings.

My dealer called me and have my identical build that a customer walked away from. Going to go take it for a spin. I do know that sitting in a Lariat is more comfortable than my XL. XL is fine but the seats are better in the Lariat. This could be good since I've had 4 sorry emails.
Don't know that there is any difference except for the covers and options.

I have 17k miles on a XL seat...the Lariat is definitely different. Softer and the cushioning is a different feel.

I had a 23 base Lariat and liked it, currently have a 24 XLT Tremor and love it more, but apples and oranges really. I thought the Lariat seats were firmer and less comfortable to me than cloth seats, definitely hot in the summer; assuming cold in winter but my XLT came in before that.

I didn't love the fact that I was always worried the kids were going to scratch or poke something through the Lariat seats either, but they are nice for sure. Just whatever you like better I think. For 25 I hope we get another option for interior color.

Finally got my XL hybrid yesterday. Originally ordered in September of 22. Got it at sticker then the rebate. They had 4 or 5 others on the lot, one since December that they dropped their ridiculous asking price back down to sticker. Mavs are cooling off it seems.

This was widely discussed and confirmed a while back, maybe late ‘22. The interior padding is same part numbers. That being said I do agree the feel of the covering is different between the XL and XLT, although not substantial and I plan to “downgrade” soon once my XL gets built. I can’t remember how the Lariat felt, but being in Houston im sure it would be way to hot for me.

Agreed. I test drive the lariat, and found the XLT Lux to be much more comfortable. Only gripe is Ford cheaped out and put in 8-way instead of 10-way power seats.
