So did my 2023. But after 100 miles on the highway driving home with Lane Centering off and cruise set….. no vibration on the steering wheel while changing lanes without signaling on the 2025. I’ll investigate more.
Thnx…

I picked up my 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid today. On my 2023 Maverick the steering wheel vibrated when you wandered across the center or roadside lines. I’m not noticing it does this on the 2025 and not seeing a place to turn it on or off. I still see that I can turn the lane centering on and off which steers me back to the middle. Do the 2025’s not have this same feature or am I missing something?
BTW….. nice improvements in the 2025’s.
I think they moved those settings into the sync 4 screen. Tim at Long McAuther did a video on it.

I have a 2024 Tremor you turn it on and off with the button on then of the turn signal. But mine has never vibrated and sound since I've had it. Not sure why?

It’s not the same for 2025.

If I change lanes without signaling, the wheel definitely vibrates in my 25 Lariat.
Gosh, you didn't even have to change lanes at all for the steering wheel to vibrate in those beaters we drove back in college!

The '71 Fury III wagon that leaked power steering so bad I just gave up and accepted an upper body workout to drive to school, my father's '64 bug that I briefly had at 70 on the original shocks with over 160k on it (nearly shook it clean out of my hands!), a friend's beast that didn't shake, but just slid into the next lane without steering it courtesy of the suspension . . .

The shaking meaning something other than "your car is junk" or "the county hasn't gotten around to this street in a decade" will be a nice change!

It’s a setting that you have to toggle.

Lane keep assist can vibrate, provide corrective nudges, or do nothing.
so can I change lanes without signaling just fine? my gf's nissan rogue, on cruise control, on an empty highway, if I change lanes without signaling, the car literally drops 5 mph. shudders the steering wheel and spaz's out, then speeds back up to correct speed.

Yep you can completely disable it. No rumble, no corrective action.

and you can still use lane centering and ACC

does it do any weird flashing or icons on dash?
im glad its not annoying like hers, I hate it. I prefer driving my 13 scion tc, basic cruise control as I can do whatever I want without signals, or getting near edges and it vibrating me to death. I drive a lot at night, so its just me on highway why the hell would I need to signal every time I change a lane lol

just read today nissan is in major trouble, Honda nissan merger failed, nissan RIP next few years. I dont like them tho

That depends upon what you mean by "fine"--does that include the robot arm reaching out and slapping you silly?

I've only had my '25 a month now, and I just had the 'teacher' at the dealer turn everything on from the screen. I am not a fan so far of how it all comes together , at least compared to my wife's Subaru which does amazing things when I get to play with it. There seem to be more dash reminders than vibrations, but maybe once its warmer out I'l spend some time tinkering.
Its not like I'm complaining. I traded in a '03 Subaru Baja that was on death's door.
