With some poking around, I'd suspect it can be turned back on via Forscan.

That is the main reason that I posted here, but just a lot of grief and did it the old fashion way.
I will still be watching for some daredevil to throw caution to the wind and accomplish that.

I wonder if Ford got sued from somebody getting in a crash, or somebody at the company thought about it and figured it'd be a "liability" or something to keep them enabled in tandem. I agree that it definitely is odd.

Wonder if there's a way to enable it in Forscan. I've been in my truck with Forscan and it's remarkable how much can be changed. It could just be a simple on/off setting. Maybe someone who has experience with the 25s and Forscan can chime in?

Here it is 15 months later and nobody has solved to my knowledge. You're probably right, its likely a simple firmware change in some module to make the 25 Mav behave like the 23 Mav. But what, where?? I'd love to have lane centering, BLISS, reverse parking aids available with a trailer plugged in.

Indeed it's working as planned. My remarks in this forum are meant to employ my real wish which is to simply plug in a rear light bar for additional lighting, and some have real bright white backup lights to assist seeing on dark nights. But when doing so I lose lane centering, BLISS, rear parking aids, all of which are safe driving aids. If I'm actually pulling a trailer inhibiting these features makes sense. My other objective was to use a lighted plug or light bar to satisfy one of the requirements to force full 12v battery charge from 91% to 100%, w/o having to use parking or headlights, discovered by Mavster Mechanic. So, lights will continue to be used. Apparently 22-24 MY owners could follow MM's lead by plugging in a simple light, and other safety features are retained. But... that changed in 2025.
