The generation scares me, they will one day run the country although they don't grasp basic concepts.
I guess you don't understand paying for something yet not getting what you paid for. Oh just move on, nothing to see hear. Take my money and do what you want with it.
You didn't pay for lane centering while towing.

Now think about what would happen if the vehicle & trailer combination had negative tongue weight (Trailer is lifting the rear of the truck)
A few post back, I added a Facebook video of a dynamic model demonstration of this exact issue.

Good explanation. Unfortunately we loose.

This is getting monotonous, it was an example of how frail some people have become. Read the post, lane centering terminates when brake pedal is touched, and can easily be overpower. No danger at all using it, just someone trying to cash in and blame someone else.
Suffering from 3rd degree burns requiring skin grafts is frail?

So, you're one of those fake, bullshit I'm tuff as nails cause I grew up in whatever generation types.

On the Starbucks case, it was burns on his/her penis to make it worse! I didn't spend enough time on choosing my words using "Frail" just a general term encompassing the inability to handle something as dangerous as a hot coffee without causing permeant damage to oneself. But I guess this explains why you can't have lane centering when towing which is way more dangerous then drinking coffee.

I guess you don't agree that some generations are tougher then yours. Just because I don't have my hair in a manbun doesn't mean you can talk to me like that.

I see you don't even own a Maverick. Thanks for injecting all your first hand knowledge.
not yet, but it's on the way. i do happen to own a ford escape which also has lane centering. i know how it works. i also am actually smart enough to read the capabilities of the vehicle before i purchase, so i know what i'm getting, and what i'm not. if anything, this is all on you for not actually doing your homework and then whineing the world won't give you what you want. like i said, a karen.

Like I said, you don't even own a Maverick, and now you want to tell me how smart you are because you read about it, and want to give me advice with your experience in owning an Escape. Thanks but no thanks.

Hate to tell you but capabilities are not always operation.

If you haven't leaned anything by reading this, you better realize that what you read about may be different then the actual product you get. But I am glad you have so much extra time to read into such detail about a product that can change with every update, and that you will have no problems if something you like is taken away, perhaps the story of your life.

This may go over your head, but some post on forums actually give you information on how to change the world and get what you want, if your smart enough. Don't be scared but I will actually have working lane centering while towing a fully functional trailer, but you won't.

I can't point to anything that says "active while towing".

Let me try to get you to understand Mr. Smart. Since you read up on Maverick's capabilities, what amount of weight can you carry legally?

Since your the smart informed customer that did his homework about important details, this should be easy to answer without looking it up.

If you are asking about payload limitations, then it really depends on what options you chose for your vehicle.

If you are asking about towing limitations, that also depends on what options you chose for your vehicle.

All in all, this is just a BS question to redirect the topic of conversation away from the fact that you bought the truck without being aware of its capabilities. Last I checked, @scottjl wasn't the one complaining about the truck not doing something that it was never intended to do.

legally is going to depend on location.

and looking things up, like in the manual, is how i got smart. if you had tried it, you wouldn't be whineing about not getting lane centering while towing!

Funny, because you don't even know my generation, just assumed someone that thinks you're a tool has to be younger.

Where do you live, in Mexico? Weight laws are consistent stat to state, but you might know that if you looked it up. You keep saying your smart, but you can't answer the question of how much weigh your new truck, if you get one, can carry. It is the most important " capability" a person can ask before purchasing a new truck, well that is if he intends to do any work with it.

Try to pay attention if your going to chime in, he doesn't own a Maverick truck so how can he complain about it??? He just wants to give advise.

No actually I was trying to help Mr. Smart because what you think is BS question is the most important spec you should know on your truck. People have chimed all in a panic about lawsuits when using lane centering and towing, when actually overweight violations are way up on the scale of fines and suits after crashes. Think about it, if he overloads his truck everything is inadequate, brakes, suspension, unibody, steering, tires, wheels, axles etc. The "friendly police officer" will be busy doing a lot of writing. And unlike using lane centering in violation of the imaginary lane centering option laws, you can't make an overweight go away by taping the brake.
