Article pointed out there is no indication if that Tasman would be the truck to be brought over - for all the comments regarding how it looks.
Facelift is relatively easy, if the Tasman has the same underpinnings of a model with hybrid already available, that part would be easy.
Or they are releasing news now because they already have a new/current model that will be ready to go, with correct hybrid base ready to use.
It is interesting how many new models with EV or hybrid go for the blocky look - as if airflow and efficiency don't matter anymore.
