Looking to get exterior keypad. 2 versions available. Mine is basic xl 2 button remote . The description for them is vague. Anyone have the correct part #

I had issues getting it programmed as the truck doesn't come with a lock code card and I don't have the official ford software. Let me know how you end up going about it!

***Edited as checked my photos and I had a card but still didn't have luck with programming.

The "lock card" is specific to the device and not the vehicle... it should come included in the box with the device (a.k.a part).

I just had my keypad installed on July 3rd. Had a lot of trouble going through the dealers with prices and finding the correct one. If you order through ford accessories the cost is $120 plus $24 installation cost. When you are on the website to order the keypad, you will get a choice of dealers in your area to install it. Don't forget when you go to pick it up that you need to go through the Ford Accessories section of the dealership and not the parts/service department. I went to the service and they had no record of anything. After 30 minutes they sent me to the accessories guy and it was finished in 30 minutes.

Good tip. I ordered the keypad with the vehicle so hopefully they have it all ready when I pick it up. Do you have a pic of it installed?

I paid for both the pad and installation on the ford accessory site. The dealer I bought from was not one of the options for purchasing this package. Why I don't know. I used my ford points to pay for it.
