Hello, I purchased my 2024 Maverick XLT Hybrid back in February, and I had the stick-on keyless entry keypad programmed by the Ford Dealer. It was working fine, but now i tried it again and it doesn't work anymore. When i press the keys, still beeps, and led light blinks, so i know it's not a dead battery. The only thing i can think of is I recently had the BCM update recall. Just wondering if anybody knew if the BCM update could have had anything to do with my keypad not working anymore? Thanks again for anybody who might be able to answer this.

I have the same exact one and when I had DTCs in the BCM, the keypad stopped working completely. I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery and clear the codes from the BCM and then it started working again! I have not had the recall done yet though

The BCM recall restores many of the default settings, and sometimes requires a reset for things to work. - It also wipes out any customizing done via ForScan.

This is true, but would the recall clear fords keyless entry programming through FDRS?, I would hope no! and if it does clear it, they should know this and reprogram the door pad.

Got the truck in march, had dealer pre-program the keypad. Took out of box this past week & tried to set code/is default code nothing works… Had the BCM recall before trying the keypad so I don’t know if that effected it? Makes possible sense though

Was wondering if you have gotten the keypad working? Would it be as simple as disconnecting the battery i hope?
