From what I understand this method does not work for the Maverick and only the dealer can link the wireless keypad. You were already provided your answer at the other forum 3 days ago ...
No, you need to go to the dealer, the Bronco, Ranger and Transit apparently use a different system. You can't even do it with Forscan from my research.Yes for that reason Am I asking on Maverick have aby one done yet ??not Ranger or Transsit any Methods above will applies to Maverick working !
All this because he won't spend $25 at the dealer. Sheesh, some peoples kids,,,,,,No, you need to go to the dealer, the Bronco, Ranger and Transit apparently use a different system. You can't even do it with Forscan from my research.
The video linked in OP's post is with the old style wireless keypad which could be programmed without the dealer. The keypad for the Maverick is a newer version which apparently requires IDS which is more capable than Forscan. I paid my dealer $20 after tons and tons of research saying programming these type 2 keypads is only capable with IDS and not Forscan.I agree it would be nice if someone has been able to program these with a Maverick WITHOUT going to a dealer.
Anyone ?
