Fob not working

Just bought a used 2024 hybrid lariat. Dealer handed me two fobs. One works fine. The other works with the buttons on the remote (lock, unlock, remote start, panic) but won't start the truck. Keep getting an error that no fob is recognized and touch lock/unlock on the door handles doesn't work. When I checked my key status in the vehicle menu, it says there are 3 admin keys - not sure if this is part of the problem. Any ideas if I can fix this or need to take it in to a dealer? I tried the programming procedure but since I only have one working key, it doesn't work

I had a similar issue with my fob. Skalnek Ford sent a mobile Tech out for the Brake light recall update. While here, he reprogrammed the truck to the fob and now all is well.

There's no reason it should have 3 admin keys if you only have 2. I would bet the dealer damaged or lost a key and programmed another one. Take it back to the dealer and have them reprogram your fob. If you've tried the programming procedure without luck, and replaced the FOB BATTERY, then there's not much else you can do besides take it back to the dealer!
