I ordered the keypad for my 2024 XL without remote start. The dealer tried to program but said they could not get it to work. The plan is to order the keypad for vehicles with remote start. They are doing that since I have the app that allows me to start the car on my smart phone (which I guess technically they think means I have emote start?).
I'm not very hopeful this will work. Wondering if anyone has encountered this problem.

Just wondering why they wouldn’t think the first one was defective and ordered another of the same type. It only takes about 5 minutes to program. Not saying the other one won’t work, but it sounds like they are guessing because you don’t have remote start. I would ask them to try another of the correct part instead.
