After 2 years, had to replace the battery in one of my fob's recently. Crazy thing, the original keyfob batteries in my 2018 expedition had to be replaced about the same time. Either the batteries are of lower quality now or their was a bad batch of batteries. Insane that yours died out so quickly

Battery needs to be replaced every month! Any others having this problem?

What is needed is a plug in key fob that is rechargeable everything else is rechargeable replacing batteries is archaic

I just replaced my battery yesterday. It was only about 13 months old. Hopefully I just started with a crappy battery. We'll see. It was a panasonic but that doesn't mean much. It could've been old stock or fake or whatever. I'm hoping for more from this replacement.

I haven't had any problems and I've had my truck for 29 months!

Same here,got my truck in April 2022 and never had a problem. I use my truck almost everyday and have not replaced the fob battery.

Fortunately it’s an easy fix and doesn’t cost a lot. I’ve done it for my wife’s Honda and my neighbors Cadillac.
