Battery needs to be replaced every month! Any others having this problem?
I had to replace the fob battery within the first month. Dealer took care of it for me and I haven't had any issues since (4 months).
I'll give Germain Ford of Columbus, OH a shout-out b/c the folks there have been great to work with.

Have a 2022 EB Lariat. Just changed the battery 1st time and only because it wouldn't shut off the panic alarm

Same battery since Sept. of 23'.

My 2012 Focus fob had the original battery when it got traded in for the Mav. Eleven years. I expect the same for the Mav.

Buy brand name, fresh batteries for local retailers, or DigiKey, Mouser and the like. Most Xinese coin cell batteries are junk; junk chemistry, poor QC.... And be careful with Amazon, as brand name packaging can be spoofed. If Amazon, I buy directly from the Duracell, Energizer... store sites

Also avoid buying from Harbor Freight, Dollar Tree and other discounters. Even IF you find brand name products, it might be old or "C" stock the discounter wrangled from the back door of a factory.

XLT no 3rd party remote start, flip-key remote.
Since Apr 23rd - no battery problem. 2-3 times a minimum, though starting to use the door lock-all at work to supposedly not enabled all security.

How often do you use it daily?

Guessing bad package of batteries too.

My Lariat's remotes both have the original batteries installed since taking delivery in April of '23, without as so much as a low-battery message on the dash. - Probably just jinxed it and I'll get a message tomorrow morning, but so far so good. Could the problem be the replacement batteries, perhaps old or an odd no-name battery from China? (I'm 'assuming' they're CR2032 or CR2025 batteries).

Better than the 12v which was replaced in Dec to cure my nearly daily deep sleep messages.
