24 XLT Hybrid w/500 miles. One day this week, after being parked/locked for 30 minutes, returned to the truck. Key fob inoperable. Unlocked manually, etc. Next errand it was back to normal.
Was this a "deep sleep" event.

No idea, I had to put new batteries in both my fob’s several months ago on my MY22.

How was it inoperable?
Push of unlock?
Was cell phone or coins between fob and truck?
Did you have hand behind door pull and at the end with the raised ridges?
Were you close to truck with fob in pocket real close to truck (maybe metal in rear door or pillar was blocking signal which happened to me).

No keypad. Fob didn't work while standing at the door. I changed to the other fob and haven't had an issue. If that fails, we'll need to dig deeper.

Same thing has happened to me twice. First time, I used the key to open the door, that set off the alarm. Second time it happened, I used the phone app. No other issues with the key fob since. Strange.

that would lead me to replace the battery in the fob, a simple process

(I have a Maverick on order). As an 2020 Escape owner for 4 years (remember Maverick is based on the Escape), I feel your pain with all these intermittent issues (sometimes just one, sometimes every so often). My Escape has had way to many of these issues... Examples ... Map screen was a complete mirror image of what it should be (once so far), seat does not always move to the correct position, or not move when I start the car (fob in pocket, shut off car, restart, fine), on occasion decides not to connect my phone (shut off car, wait a few minutes, start and it connects), right side monitors for obstructions goes bonkers (full red icon and buzzers going off when nothing is within 30 feet of the car, mostly when I 1st start the car and have backed out of the garage... Happens often), kick foot to open the tailgate (works when it feels like, dealer blames the factory tow bar), drivers window auto up function decides to send the window down again when it gets to the top and has to be reprogrammed each time). I could go on, but I think you get the jest.... hahahaha FORD NEEDS SOME BETTER PROGRAMMERS...

I had a similar incident with my 2024 XLT, 2.0 liter eco-boost engine. Truck was locked up for 3+ hours, when I returned could not unlock it with the fob, nor by manually inserting the key in drivers side door. Used the Ford Pass App to unlock it. Only happened that one time.

I have the same truck and at about the same mileage i was doing some business in a store , came out and same thing ! dead nothing worked ! my guy at the dealership mentioned that he has heard of LED advertising signs are affecting the Mavs electronics ! any comments ????
