Thanks for clearing things up. I just dope slapped myself. Truck is new to me, didn't even realize there was a manual lock button. So of course never used it. And yes, it is easy to hit it by mistake when exiting.

That button locks all the doors.

I've had several instances in which only the driver's side door has mysteriously locked itself. i had not used either the fob or inside the door lock button. No other doors nor the tailgate were locked. it even has happened with the windows down? Anyone else experience this?

I had a similar incident with my 2024 XLT, 2.0 liter eco-boost engine. Truck was locked up for 3+ hours, when I returned could not unlock it with the fob, nor by manually inserting the key in drivers side door. Used the Ford Pass App to unlock it. Only happened that one time.
