Decided yesterday we wanted a hybrid Maverick. Stopped and called a couple of local dealers and ai good luck with that. I put a couple of inquiries out on the online ads. Got one immediate reply from a dealer in Omaha and said that had a blue one on the lot. Said I would take it. He called back a few minutes later and said it had sold while I was talking to him.

That night I sent out twenty to thirty feelers and a dealer contacted me this morning and said he just had an ordered unit canceled and did I want it. It is a hybrid CO, Lariat luxury package which is the way I would have ordered. Except the color. I wanted a CG and the wife wanted Area 51. Although the CO was both our third choice so I guess it worked out. He said delivery should be around the 15th but………. Anytime I will be good just scored so I am happy.

To the OP congrats! Yes that Cyber Orange in person is amazing. The trainer vehicle at my local dealership had one. I so liked it.

This was inside the dealership on a rainy day. But they say it's amazing in sunshine.

Good for you! Just speaks volumes to how terrible some dealers are marking up custom orders that people wait 6 plus months for.

No, that’s a deal for a Maverick you didn’t order directly. Most dealers are adding Hugh markups on vehicles that are not direct retail orders. CongraTS!!

I really like the Cyber Orange color and generally speaking I'm not a fan of orange cars. My first car was a bright orange (more red than the CO color) 1977 Toyota Celica ST. I was really tempted to order CO when I ordered my Maverick yesterday but that color just doesn't fit "me" even though I like "it." I ordered Alto Blue.

Alto Blue is sweet but we live a mile and a half away from a black top road so anything dark for us wouldn’t be smart
