Just received this depressing email about my 2023 Maverick order

I got the same email today. Ordered a XLT Hybrid with Hitch, Manual Sliding Rear Window and Co-Pilot360 on 9/16/22.

I just checked my email and I got it as well. Don’t know if it is for my October 2021 order for a 2022 hybrid XL with only a drop-in bedliner or for my September 2022 order for the 2023 hybrid XL with no options? Either way, it was a silly email.

I don't find it to be a silly email. While it may seem trivial, to me, it means Ford actually has my order and it's in a queue for a 2023 Maverick. In fact, if I didn't get one, I would be a little worried that Ford did not have my order despite what my Ford dealer said. I realize that it doesn't mean I will get a Maverick... But again, It does mean that Ford has my order.

I received the same email yesterday for my MY23 Lariat EcoBoost, but I am realistic about when it might get scheduled.

Why do I get "replies" like this, with quotes of me, that have absolutely no content otherwise? Not just on this thread, but others as well?

This is the same even on another browser with no extensions/addons loaded when I view the threads.

I'm not asking for much, just my truck as ordered, plus a hitch mount hoist to lift my chair in and out of the bed.

I've only seen those hoists in pictures, not sure of what they're called, but I know they exist.

I have not received any further info from Ford since they accepted my order. I Ford called today and was told everything is a go and will be notified once production date is set.

I got mine today also. Mine was a first day order. Rather frustrating. However, on my ‘22 Maverick, I got NOTHING from Ford for 5 months. At least this is an improvement. FYI…my ‘22 is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Worth the wait.

It's not much but it's something. There are other ways of checking your order.
I'd like them to give me a bit more. Something to estimate my final delivery time.

I just spent an entire year wishing I just had an estimate of what season I'd get my truck. Looks now like maybe only 5 more months...Spring/Summer...maybe...if the dealer reorders my 2022 order properly...

I too received an email on 10/28/22 stating a production date of 12/2022. The order was for a Hybrid, XLT and this is a new order from 9/2022. I also received the second email on 10/31/22 stating " due to delays, etc we will update you every 45 days." Question #1, Ford didnt know three days prior when they sent a production date email that it would be delayed? Question # 2 could the truck still be built in 12/2022?
