Just ordered 2027

I have been watching the forum here for about a year and decided it was time to join the club in a more meaningful way, so I just ordered a 2027 maverick lariat in glacier grey. while i check my local ford dealers, none were shall i say welcoming to placing an order for a 2027. I think the reason is they all had 2026 stock on lot, and they are at higher prices then a new comparable equiped 2027. Can't really blame them.

I ended up going with Long McArthur Ford in Kansas, even though I'm in New England. That mean when the truck becomes available we will fly to Salina KS and pick up the truck and drive back a bit over 1200 miles. A good break-in drive home.

The folks at Long McArthur Ford were a dream to work with, From watching Tim Bartz and his daughter on YouTube to the sales and staff that placed the order, confirmed all my build requirements, made a few suggestions, and provided quick and accurate answers to all my questions. I actually got confirmation from Ford on the placed order within a few hours of placing the order with Long McArthur. Also a shout out to Noe Grullon the sales person i worked with who was very helpful and a pleasure to work with.

So, if you want to buy your new Maverick online, and avoid the usual sales hassles and enjoy a long drive home, I highly recommend Long McArthur.

Just for clarification, the Lobo and Tremor in the 2.0 drivetrain dropped their prices. Not the Lariat which now only comes with the 2.5 correct?

When I bought my 2026, there were still a few random 2025's left and the prices really weren't much different so i would look at a 2027 now also.

The 2027 Lariat is hybrid only. Because of the way Ford changed the packaging configurations it is possible to get one at a lower price, but if you configure like to like, I'm not sure where the MSRP price lands, because Ford took down the 2026 configurator. so can't compare anymore

It's certainly easy enough to find a window sticker for a 2026 optioned the way you want, to compare the MSRP's.

Same here but from Texas. Ordered from Long McArthur and XLT fwd hybrid in Neptune Blue. Build date is Nov. 9. Flying in to Wichita, drive (or be driven) to Salinas, and driving back to Houston. A little vacation visiting friends in OKC and Dallas. Agreed that it was super easy dealing with them. I was told by local dealers (3 of them) they were not able to do it. Good luck with your purchase! I plan on posting some pics and updates. I am not even sure what a Neptune Blue Maverick looks like!
