Just finished installing the cvf front mount intercooler @CVF-Jason. The install took me almost 3hrs and I was able to do it in my driveway. It was definitely harder than any of the install videos make it out to be but I got it done. I could definitely get in done in half the time now knowing exactly how to do it.

All in all it fits great and will be exactly what I need with a custom tune. I notice very slight turbo lag during daily driving. This is very very slight

Glad to hear the install went smoothly. I think 3 hrs is better than I could do.

a couple questions on this comment... 1) does CVF intercooler improve airflow as well? Not sure how cooler air temp would improve the turbo lag. And 2) When you say slight turbo lag, is this a referenced comparison to the stock turbo setup? I ask because my stock set up has a bit more than just a slight lag, and curious if your implying it's much improved.

I'm not sure if it improves airflow but it does keep it cooler. When I say slight lag I mean compaired to the oem unit.

Humm...more lag compared to OEM would be a disappointment.

It would be very slight and trade off for better flow. It holds more volume thus the slight increase in lag. But it still so slight. Our turbos are so tiny they have virtually zero lag to start with.
