I got my Tremor back today after having the CVF Intercooler installed. I had a local mechanic that came recommended from the guy that did my downpipe. From what I gather from our conversations is that it was a bit of a pain in the ass. From what I can see after, I am glad I had someone do it for me. I would of hated doing it myself while hoped up on pain meds. But anyway, I can say that I am going to have to be more conscience about approaching anything since the intercooler is now the leaning edge of the lower bumper. the unit seems robust enough to handle random road debris so not worried about that. I may eventually de-badge it and put a non-angled bumper on.
Operationally, I have noticed that the lower gear upshifts seem a lot smoother since it has a lot more breathable air to draw from while under acceleration. The stock unit seems like a tic-tac compared to the new one. I just got it put in, a fresh tank of 93 and a fresh reflash and will post more thoughts about it as my week progresses. Attached are a few photos of the install.
