For those flat towing your Mav, I am confirming that running your charge wire to the jump post under the hood does not timeout.? However the cigarette lighter does?

You are absolutely correct. I use the 12v jump post as a source, wired to a 12v lighter plug i bought. Later I discovered you can extend the OEM 12V receptacle timeout with Forscan. My 25MY timeout is 4500 seconds (1hr 15min). I extended it to 14,400 seconds ( 4 hrs), figuring it would never flat tow 4 hours w/o stopping.

I decided to wire a 12 volt plug directly to the back seat battery and plug a tender from there to a small Bluetti for now. I can get about six hours out of it which for me is plenty.

I disabled the powerpoint timeout, tested it with a ring camera to ensure that my aux brake will always have power.
