Just wanted to say hello and that I ordered on July 17, 2023, Lariat Hybrid in Terrain. The only option I added was the floor liners.

About 4 months ago I was able to drive a 2022 Lariat Hybrid for the weekend, put over 400 miles on it and now I have to have one.

I have another question if someone might know the answer.

I asked for my DORA sheet from the dealer and they sent it to me. I have a priority code of 19 and a friend said to ask them to change it to a 10. I emailed the dealer and asked if they could change it and received this response:

"Lowers is actually a 3 now, I am not layering our order bank right now I am leaving all priority codes the same"

Does anyone know what this means?

It means that your dealer is choosing not to prioritize the orders they hold. Sounds like everyone in their system is a 19.

So when ford goes to pull orders from them they will come in date / constraint order theoretically.

You dealer technically could use priority 10-19 to "layer" or prioritize their OWN orders.

In theory if all their orders are 19 then it's no less chance you get pulled than if they are all 10.

"lowers is only 3" .... Is that a typo? Doesn't make sense. "Orders is only 3 right now" ... That would make sense. Also help explain why order banks are still open.

Waited 3 years for my Bronco not playing that game again. Purchased a 23 XLT AWD yesterday. Paid $2,000 over sticker but I didn't have to play the waiting game again. It's the same price if I had ordered a 24 in the same configuration so I'm fine with it.

I had the same thought, although the stealerships in my area want $10k over. I won't do that..

I bet you are correct about the typo, that makes more sense. Thanks

I actually am in a hurry. My friend ordered from the same dealer in July 2022 and received it in Jan 2023. I hope mine works out like that.

That is what my wife said, I don't mind it being lighter than what I was expecting. That shot the spy camera caught did look very light.

Lowers was a typo for lowest. They are saying they could lower it to a priority 3(or 10), but they are choosing not to.

Well, LOL, it is all about expectations I suppose. We are all in a hurry but little good it does us. The Ford gods run the show. I went into this expecting one year. I was super psyched when my Maverick was built on July 29 fully expecting to just come in under the wire and get it shipped before the plant closed for two weeks. Did not happen and it is still sitting there for 25 days now waiting on a rail car that is heading east.

Good luck. Somebody has to be first and somebody has to be last I suppose.

I thought 10 was the lowest a dealer could go. 1-9 for ford itself?
