Just makes me wonder how a manufacturer can have such a piss-poor tracking system and communication of a process they’ve had plenty of time to perfect.
I hope it's a tracking issue. I had a Bronco Sport on order for many months last year and it got built and stored in a lot in Hermosillo waiting on parts. Lost tracking of it.

That is when I moved to the Maverick.

I checked my Vehicle History at the dealer today. It said the following (some of the text might not be exact, I'm just remembering it):
  • 1/11/22 - produced
  • 1/10/22 - trim line
  • 1/09/22 - body shop
  • 1/08/22 - in production
Can anybody tell me what "trim line' means? My dealer said the "body shop" entry was probably for a scratch or ding that occurred during production. Does that sound right? (I don't have a spray in liner or anything like that.)
Heat, no clue what trim line means. First I’ve seen that. I’m going ask my dealer today if mine shows a trim line. I’ll let you know. I think every vehicle gets a body shop tag just for something, either SIBL or some kind of quality control. Sounds like yours is built so I am curious if your tracker indicates as such. My tracker still shows in production as of 1/13 but dealer told me Wednesday that his visibility history shows built and at the rail yard awaiting shipment. ETA is 2/21.

Just throwing this out there in case anyone else runs into it...

Called my dealer yesterday to see if they had an ETA on their end as to when my truck would be delivered (it's on a train in AZ right now). Their response was that while it will get to the railyard sometime between 2/2 - 2/8, they have no plans to pick it up from there. I asked how that could be, given that they have to provide last mile delivery from where vehicles get dropped off to their showroom.

Apparently the dealer has been having issues with the company they contract with to deliver and are just not working with them right now since it was taking them too long to schedule drivers. It doesn't seem to make sense that they would not be retrieving inventory and just letting it sit, but that's the current word. I'm going to call them on the 8th if I don't hear anything more and get an update. Pretty disappointing.

My truck went into production 01/04/22. Delivery date just got changed from 01/31/22 to 02/23/22.

Seems to me Ford is having problems getting some final parts in or maybe covid.

Can't you just jump over the border and pick your truck up at the plant? ;)

I wish. I'm sure it will go through El Paso on its way to Granger, where I'll pick it up. Anything for a deal.

Haven’t been able to get the tracker to load (yesterday showed still in production), but dealer said my truck is awaiting to be loaded on the train with an ETA to Las Vegas on 17 Feb. He says the dealership has been getting “Maverick Delay” emails this whole week.

Finally, my last post to this thread! Good luck all.

Not even a follow-up pic? After 18 & 7 months of waiting to get a Ford lol

So for you it was—built email, 6 days later shipped, 13 days later delivered. If that same timeframe applied to me I’d need to receive a built email within 2 days to get mine by my “ETA” date of 2/18 — and that’s with an ‘In Production’ date 3 days after yours. Yikes! Not optimistic but ya never know.

I have to see it first and I live 4.5 hours from where it is! I'm picking it up tomorrow afternoon, so yes, I'll add a pic.

You and I should be close, both nnnn/1169, my in-production date was 1-10, and our modules got populated within a day or so of one another. My estimated delivery date is supposed to be 2-21.
My optimism has wained after 19 days of goose-eggs.
