I have now been without my Maverick for over a month since she was hit while parked in front of my house by a KIA. Still in the body shop awaiting reassembly and final suspension alignment-latest estimate is now this Thursday for completion.
The pain is real-seeing the occasional Maverick in my home town seems to bring mixed feelings-happy for the owner , but still sad in a way. Since my Maverick was only 2 months old at the time , I guess I'm feeling robbed- is the best terminology . Seeing all the posts here at MTC helps a lot-truly.
Driving the rental-Hyundai Tucson is also not enjoyable!(30 mpg is depressing-lol).

How attached are you to your rides? I can honestly say I am a verified car nut I guess................Appreciate your comments(keeping fingers crossed for Thursday)lol!

Best of luck for Thursday. I would have a hard time as well if I didn't have my Maverick. Hope you get yours soon. Hope nobody got hurt in the kia. Vehicle's can be replaced. The downside like you posted is doing without them, sucks.

Even stranger--young lady was a friend of my oldest granddaughter. Totally an accident as she was reaching into the back seat to keep a bucket from spilling-irresponsible ,yes-but accidental..............

On the Human-side:
Glad that the outcome was Good! With NO injuries.. ;)

On the Truck-side:
I have had three Rangers over a 36 year period. Everytime, one had an extended stay at the shop..
I felt as I was incomplete... I remember reading years ago of cowboys talking about their horses and how much they functioned together.. My MAV is no different... 🐴 (?🦄 :ROFLMAO:)

Mine was good until it was not. Being gone for five weeks for the airbag recall nixed any connection.

Dude I feel your pain!!! Got rear ended in bumper to bumper and was without me boy for three weeks... wanted to cry like a baby until I got it back.

Happy no injuries, but in pain to be without... yes, I'm attached, definitely attached!!!:cool::cool:
