its 25,000 miles maintenance time '23 hybrid (update from previous thread)

I'm at 25,000 mi and the dealer is recommended that I come in for an oil change should that not include the transmission oil change ?
please see the
attached suggested maintenance I received the last round at 20,000

I just replaced my cabin air filter for $12. All that other stuff they sold you is snake oil. Oil change price was fair. IMO

Change both air filters yourself. Easy job, just Google the operation. and be done with. Thank them for the oil change.
The rest of the wishful service is BS.

When was your last oil change? For hybrids Ford recommends every year or 10k miles.

You don't need one. Follow Ford's guidance, not your dealer. I'm about to have my second oil change at 2 years and 12,000 miles.

Ford recommends following the OLM - not 1 year or 10K miles exactly.
Section in your manual for that part.
Could be less too.

You watch how many electric miles you get on each trip?
40% perhaps?
That means you'll have about 6K engine miles - IF, IF, the OLM happens to go to the max of 10K.
But you may tow, idle long, be in AZ, ect, and be told less than 10K.

The standard blend oil change us $39

At 25,000 miles that’s all you need. Those so called performance charges are total bull shit.

Basic rule of thumb. For best peace of mind. Change oil between 3000 and 5000 miles, or at least once a year. Whatever comes first. Ignore any other indicator or factory recommendations.

I changed the transmission fluid on my hybrid at 30k miles/50k kms just to see what it was like. Looked like new at that distance, the design is easy on fluid.

If you don't want to change your engine oil at 40% you probably don't want to change your tranny fluid until 100k miles at least.
