2024 hybrid Complete Maintenance schedule?

This car is my first new car, but I've heard it's still common practice to do the first round of maintenance (at least oil change) much earlier, like 1-3k.
However, other threads have debated that the IOLM is accurate.

So, like the nerd that i am, I go to the manual, page 456 says go to some website for Scheduled maintenance intervals, once there and enter my VIN, and it appears to have nothing earlier than 10k and then below:

Sending me right back to where i started!
Am i missing something? I didnt realize my work commute was so long and ive alrdy put 900mi on my mav!

I’m sure there are many views regarding this topic, I’m on the side of changing oil rather than changing parts/engines. I have a 24 hybrid and I did the first oil/filter change at around 5500 miles rather than at 10000 as OEM recommends. I’m not a gambling man when it comes to maintenance…just my two cents.

I'm in the same boat. I feel 10k is too long to wait for first oil change. I think I'll do mine at 6k.

Some folks have invented a "Break in" oil change and use Internet Experts to support their assertions. Ford doesn't recognize such a thing. How soon and often you change your oil is your choice.
You will find plenty of cynics who believe Ford sets it's recommended oil change interval only to get you through the warranty period. No data exists anywhere that supports such claims. In fact the vast majority of automobiles last WAY past the warranty period.
Nothing wrong with changing oil early. It costs a little bit more buy if it gives you piece of mind why not.
I have always followed the manufacturer's recommended oil change interval for the many cars I've owned in the last 45 years. Only one failed prior to 200k miles and it was my fault. And it was a Pinto. ;-)
