I have been here since June of 2021 when I ordered my first Maverick. I ordered my second in August of the same year.

A few weeks ago my wife feel in lust with a 2020 Explorer Platinum edition. We traded one of the Mavericks for it. She wasn’t really into the small truck anyway. She just went along so we could sell the older Murano with 100k on it for something newer.

Today I signed a deal to trade my second Maverick for a NEW 2022 F150 Lightning Lariat for 2k under MSRP.

The dealer is dropping it off tomorrow morning. Hope I don’t back out.

Anyway, long story I wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed my Maverick trucks and this forum. Although I won’t be adding much in the future, I will likely still be lurking in the shadows.

To answer the question that someone will want to know: I got $1.5k and $2k more than I paid on each truck when I traded them back to the dealer.

Good Luck and Happy Mavericking!!

I too like the lightning but the pricing is unreasonable. Also the congested charge stations make me keep rethinking that. I read somewhere they are making a small electric (t3 I think) and at that point, I may too trade my hybrid. Good luck, let us know about that lightning!

Bought and sold two Mavericks when some haven’t gotten their first one. Yes, some of us are jealous.
Sorry. It’s a long story, but I have good small town dealer that was very helpful and apparently does a pretty great Id volume.

I hate it that I no longer have aMaverick and hope to get one of the first all electric units if and when Ford produces one, but I couldn’t pass up the deal on the Lightning.

Good luck to you and rest assured you will be well pleased when your does arrive.

I certainly would’ve, if I hidden need it’s trade-in value to swing the deal.

I really hope to have another one when it goes full electric or plug-in hybrid.

I would like to see a plug-in hybrid Maverick.
Something with about 40 mile electric only. 600-650 combined gas-elec.

It would depend on your driving. If you can charge at home and don't road trip a lot, or have another vehicle for that, then charging stations would be a non issue
