Issue with Upper Console Clip

Maybe this was in reference to the engine block. Perhaps his is a hybrid affected by the big engine crank polishing fiasco.

Ask if you can keep the used/broken overhead roof dome light front console. I'll buy it for a reasonable price.
I removed mine multiple times after mirror replacement to eliminate a rattle and eventually broke it at it's weakest point :-(

I'm certain there has to be aftermarket clips out there. Likely under $1 (each).

I'd get creative and put some silicone or something around the inside of where the clip goes into and call it good. Can't say I'd ever see a need to remove that piece so I'd be okay with a little bit of super glue fixing this problem vs. giving the dealer my vehicle for a day and hoping they don't ruin something.

Or... There's the redneck fix

Or... spray foam - spray foam works for everything automotive related. Suspension falling apart? Spray foam it together. Frame rusted through? Spray foam inside of it! "Upper Console Clip" falling out? SPRAY FOAM!

I use that sunglass holder every time I enter or exit the vehicle (AZ sunshine) so no point in closing it.

Early on I decided that I didn't want issues with it wearing out (seems a little flimsy) so now it just stays open and I lay my glasses in it. It's never gonna wear out!

It's under warranty, and if I do any repairs it voids the bumper to bumper warranty
