Does anyone else have this problem? My rear taillights are secure by the screws but kind of pop out of the bracket. I can pop it back in but it eventually pops back out. It may be a little difficult to see in the pictures but the first two are with it popped out. You can see the space in between the tail light and the body of the truck. The last picture is after popping it back in. This is not a major issue and doesn't affect anything that I'm aware of. I'm still loving my Maverick.

Others have experienced this - mine was right rear.

Some had success with loosening the bolts slightly and popping the lights back in, theory being too tight bolts are pulling the assembly out of the grommets.

I resolved by replacing the grommets, been a while so I apologize but I think it was These

If I recall this, if you pop off the light there are posts which you can lengthen or shorten...these engage with the grommets. In my case making them longer relieved pressure and never had issues since.

Have heard that, mine just spun / didn't change length.

Op try adjusting bolts first, then see if your posts are adjustable, while the assembly is out see if the grommets all fit tight and flush

I'm so proud of you guys. All the answers (except mine:blush:) were constructive and helpful. Not one snide post about how this has been covered before and not to bother the rest of us with your problems. The same topics will be covered over and over. Get used to it and either be helpful or just don't reply. Sorry for the PSA.

Yes I have this issue. First occurred when changing to LED lighting. I bought a pack of 2 of the black ones (upper) from Ford for about $8. They didn’t have the white ones in stock. I now have an Amazon order for both. 15 pieces of each type for about $12 per type. The manufacturer is Rexka and the part numbers are:
W718155-S300 (black) and W717430-S300 (white)

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Same problem here. This is covered by your warranty. Just let your dealer know. They may have to order the correct parts but it won't cost you anything. I had my dealer fix mine while it was in for an oil change.
