If I recall this, if you pop off the light there are posts which you can lengthen or shorten...these engage with the grommets. In my case making them longer relieved pressure and never had issues since.Others have experienced this - mine was right rear.
Some had success with loosening the bolts slightly and popping the lights back in, theory being too tight bolts are pulling the assembly out of the grommets.

Does anyone else have this problem? My rear taillights are secure by the screws but kind of pop out of the bracket. I can pop it back in but it eventually pops back out. It may be a little difficult to see in the pictures but the first two are with it popped out. You can see the space in between the tail light and the body of the truck. The last picture is after popping it back in. This is not a major issue and doesn't affect anything that I'm aware of. I'm still loving my Maverick.![]()
