Yep, that's the only thing that seems to work. I got a new phone recently and the issue still persists!

I’m getting ready to take the Maverick in for service and was wondering if anyone has found a successful solution to the hands free connection problem of garbled connection on the Maverick side. The wife called me this morning from the Maverick and complained that she could barely understand me although she said telling the system to call me was crystal clear but once connected is where the problem started. On my end the call on my iPhone was clear but again her iPhone was not even after making multiple attempts to reconnect.Mine was so bad I won’t even use it as hands free. Question for you when you do all that switching of the speaker is someone still connected to you phone or is that after they or you had up? Once you’ve done that does the Maverick remember it or do you have to do it again on the next call?
I had the same issue with a 2012 Fusion that Ford never fixed.
