Is the 2025 Maverick 2.5L Hybrid Flat Towable?

Great News - Since all the rumors whether the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid is flat towable has been put to bed and it is confirmed that it is indeed flat towable four wheels down.

i was contacted today by BlueOX that they have completed the engineering and the new baseplate is now in stock and ready for sale and ready to be Installed - RoadMaster and Demco hopefully will also be ready to go to the market soon.

Well hello again! We just exchanged idea's on the dash mats! We tow a Maverick also, and you are going to like it. We also went from a 2005 Jeep LJ (long version Jeep) to the Mav. Tows just as well and is about 60 lbs lighter (pretty much same). A bit more difficult to set up using the electronics and such, but after a couple times easy peezy. I laminated a card with the setup instructions and keep in the glove box. The first time we towed, I did ok on setup, but did not follow the EXACT procedure when disconnecting and truck would not come out of "Tow mode", or so it said, even though it would drive and move just fine. I fixed by removing the negative battery cable, having a cold beer, then reattached cable. It was fine then. Keep those instructions handy, and just like flying (i've done a bit) read off the instructions with co-pilot (wifey) and verify compliance and all will be well! Good luck!

Great information I laminated the Instructions when I first flat towed my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ even though it’s pretty simple I guess I need to do the same and write it out for the Maverick unless you want to share lol

I screen shot the photos directly from the BlueOX site today I also communicated directly with a BlueOx Rep that they are available- like stated I will wait on RoadMaster and Demco I want the cleanest installation with the least destruction to my front facial

This will help a lot I will need to modify it but a good template the engine can’t be running when engaging the 2025 if you try the neutral tow option won’t illuminate thanks again…
