Is it possible I might not receive the Maverick I ordered?

I ordered a Hybrid Maverick XLT from Chapman Ford of Philadelphia on 9/29/2021. We negotiated the deal via emails, and I received the deal via email. I also received a confirmation email from Ford. And I just received an email titled "Future Maverick Owner". Then I read in one of these forums that if the dealer reached their maximum allotment of Mavericks, some people feel that they won't get theirs.

I sent email to the dealer asking if there a possibility that they could reach an allotment maximum which would result in me not getting the Maverick.

Should I be worried?

I can't think of any reason that you should be worried. As of right now, only the Lariat First Edition models have closed out. Plus, your email from Ford last week is your second confirmation that your truck will be scheduled and built.

If your order is already in, you're fine. It might take a while like the rest of us but you'll get it.

I wouldn't worry about it. You WILL get a Hybrid Maverick, the question is WHEN.

Each month every dealer gets a fresh Allocation. Once their monthly allocation is gone, they won't get any other vehicles selected for Build. I ordered from Chapman on 7/22. Let's say I was #200. Lets say they get an allocation of 25 vehicles per month. In simple terms without going through all of the process it should take 8 months before I get selected to build.

Don't worry, if you got the email and letter, you are good.

That's a relief!

Thanks, that's a relief. I wasn't planning on seeing it until spring of 2022. Hopefully it won't take longer!
