Is anybody using Amsoil?

I like Amsoil products and especially like to use them in things that have extended drain intervals like trans, rear end, etc. They tend to be expensive, but I think it's worth it. Always seems to be a contentious topic though.

I just got an AmsOil delivery for my 22 EcoBoost. My dealer has no problem with me providing it for my 20k oil change service and said it would not be a warranty issue. They will even do it in my driveway! The

Yes I am using Amsoil - I am also a dealer.
I'll be doing my second oil change this weekend at 16k kms on my '23 hybrid with HEO20 and a larger EAO34 filter - which crosses to a Motorcraft FL400S.

I like that the HEO20 is hybrid specific and API licensed for the warranty period. In my mind it should sit between Signature and XL on the spectrum for the hybrid application when you look at the rows with 4 checks.

No, I feel it is overpriced.
There are TONS of good oils out there.

I do also. I have run them for a while now. I also pull used oil samples for analysis.
Amsoil has held up for all of my tuned ecoboost vehicles and all have broke 300k miles with extended drain intervals.
Lots of cheaper oils yes but you pay for what you get.
my oil analysis seem to look better at extended drain intervals than some that have been changed at 5k.
If it was mine I’d run it. But everyone has a choice.

Amsoil is good stuff. For me, given these direct injection engines I have opted to go with Valvoline Full Synthetic Advanced.

With that said, boils down to personal preference and one can never go wrong with Amsoil products.

Check out my recent post with my oil analysis using amsoil. Not only do it preform in the worst conditions you could throw at in in normal use, but it still was in great shape even when the olm hit zero which was around 8k very hard miles. Blackstone said to go another 2k over the olm and see what it says then.
